RadiantOS vs Syncro
Compare RadiantOS and Syncro using your real device-to-technician ratio
Compare RadiantOS and Syncro using current official sources, with a practical look at per-device and per-technician billing, workflow scope, and migration fit.
In brief
What to carry into the workflow
- Syncro describes per-technician plans with unlimited managed endpoints; RadiantOS publishes progressive per-device pricing with unlimited technicians and customers.
- Your device-to-technician ratio, protected SaaS users, storage, plan requirements, and hiring forecast determine the useful commercial comparison.
- Test RMM, PSA, Microsoft 365, backup, automation, billing, governance, and export as complete workflows, then verify current plan boundaries with both vendors.
Frame the comparison around your MSP
A per-technician headline and a per-device headline reward different operating shapes. Record your current technicians and devices, expected customer and hiring growth, supported platforms, Microsoft 365 scope, service model, protected users, retained data, and required integrations before comparing totals.
This is an independent evaluation guide, not a claim that either platform wins every scenario. Syncro owns its trademarks and product descriptions; RadiantOS is not affiliated with or endorsed by Syncro.
Model technicians and devices together
RadiantOS publishes one base platform fee with an included managed-device allowance, the complete published platform, unlimited technicians, and unlimited customer organizations. Additional devices move through progressive volume bands, while SaaS Backup and retained data beyond the pooled allowance remain visible usage items.
Syncro's official MSP pricing page describes per-technician plans with unlimited managed endpoints. It also distinguishes plan capabilities and separately presents Microsoft 365 Cloud Backup. This guide avoids storing Syncro's current dollar amounts because plan prices, billing cycles, and offers can change; use the linked source and a written quote on the decision date.
Device-heavy, lean team
Test how unlimited-endpoint technician licensing behaves as customers add devices without proportional hiring.
Growing service team
Test how each added console user changes the Syncro offer and how unlimited RadiantOS technician access affects collaboration.
Backup-heavy service
Include protected users, workload coverage, retention, restore behavior, data region, and storage rather than comparing platform fees alone.
Verify plan boundaries and connected scope
Syncro's current MSP pages describe RMM and PSA in every plan, unlimited endpoints per technician, and additional Microsoft 365 security and identity capabilities in its higher plan. RadiantOS presents one complete published product suite, then meters managed devices, SaaS-protected users, and additional pooled storage under the published policy.
Those descriptions are not a feature-equivalence claim. Verify the exact ticketing, billing, automation, patching, remote, documentation, network, Microsoft cloud, backup, reporting, API, mobile, governance, and role-control behavior required by your operating model.
Test the service chain, not isolated screens
- Create an alert, deduplicate it, open and route a ticket, capture technician work, remediate the endpoint, verify health, and produce customer and billing evidence.
- Onboard a customer with many devices and multiple technicians; confirm roles, policy inheritance, ticket queues, contracts, integrations, and reporting scope.
- Run a Microsoft 365 user lifecycle and security exception through approval, action, evidence, and billing where supported.
- Restore a deleted endpoint or SaaS item and test a permission denial, conflict, alternate supported target, and signed export.
- Export the operational and commercial records needed to change platforms without relying on screenshots or manual copying.
Make migration effort visible before commitment
Compare API and export coverage, customer and asset mapping, ticket history, contracts, invoices, scripts, policies, alerts, agents, remote access, credentials, Microsoft tenant links, backup continuity, integrations, and reporting. Decide which records must migrate, which can remain in a controlled archive, and which must be rebuilt and verified.
Request a written commercial model for the same forecast, then review minimums, billing cycle, support, onboarding, data location, subprocessors, security material, renewal, cancellation, exports, retention, deletion, and offboarding help. A transparent unknown is safer than an assumed green check.
